TITLE
The club shall be called
Harlow Judo Club and hereafter be referred to as the club and shall be
affiliated to the British Judo Association, National governing body for Judo
in the U.K.
OBJECT
Harlow Judo club exists to foster and promote the sport of Judo at all
levels irrespective of class, colour, creed, religion, gender or ability.
The only restriction on safety grounds would be the lower age limit of 5
years old.
MEMBERSHIP
Memberships will be open to
any person completing an application form and attending a beginner’s course
for which a fee will be required. Memberships available are: -

Associate Members (schools)
CLASSES
Regular beginner’s classes
will be arranged. Training classes structured for all age groups from 5
years and up wards, for which a mat fee will be charged, will also be
available on a regular basis.
MAT FEE’S
All club members will be
required to pay mat fee’s one month in advance.
OFFICERS
The club will be run by
volunteer executive officers with the hope that at some time in the future a
president can be installed on a non-executive honorary basis.
GENERAL DUTIES
The club affairs will be
controlled by elected volunteers whose duties will include
Keeping accurate
records of attendance
Keeping accurate
accounts of finances
Arranging
meetings
Keeping members
informed
Reviewing
subscriptions
COACHES
Must hold a valid B.J.A.
coaching award and be CRB checked.
DISSOLUTION
In the event of the club
folding up after discharging all debts the remaining assets shall be given
to some other organisation having objects similar to those of the club.
BOOKING IN / OUT
1. On arrival at the
club for training please register with the attendance secretary at the desk
2. If fees are
required please pay appropriate amount at this time.
3. Take a mat fee
receipt card, which must be taken onto the mat and given to
your respective instructor prior to the bow.
4. In respect of
junior players if parents are not going to stay please inform the
Secretary.
